Design WORKSHOP 22.11.11: Jo Hogg, Jaqui Jaffe and Sue Burke, the Chair of GEN Initiatives shared their skills and learning with the struggling women on quality and design in support of ongoing EP initiative on livelihood generation for women. The women have learnt stitching wiith EP's efforts and are now trying to generate livelihood by sewing pretty pouches to raise their family income. The workshop was held with our adolescent girl students on photography as a medium of expression! The workshop was conducted by members of GEN Initiatives and EP. 35 girls from our Kishori Shiksha Programme participated, Need we say that we ALL loved it! The girls excitedly ran around the village taking pictures of things they hold close to their hearts like the peepul tree with parrots in it... |
